@venetiana Mine are heavily fantasy-leaning and more romance than I realized: Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes series (retired adventurer opens a coffee shop) has been fun, and T. Kingfisher's The Saints of Steel series (paladins of a dead god find love) has surprised me! On the less-romance side: Drew Hayes' Spells, Swords, & Stealth series (NPCs in a TTRPg world become heroes) and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files (long running American wizard detective series that feels like schlock but is fun)
