For roughly the past year, my desktop computer has been making a brief, half second *brrt* noise, like there is something obstructing a fan, every time I power it on. I've looked inside a handful of times, gave it a thorough dusting with compressed air, but the noise was still happening. Well, two weeks ago, I realized what was causing the noise. I have an Xbox controller, connected via USB to my computer, sat on top of the computer case. And every time the controller gets powered, it vibrates 🤦
