I'm also wondering if there is any influence from Putin behind Trump attacking Iran.
Putin is clever. Weapons and defense systems being drawn away from Ukraine doesn't feel like a coincidence.

Rising oil prices will aid Putin But I think it's more likely Russia's growing weakness figured into the decision to attack Iran Armenia, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, etc... all these countries are/ were allies of Russia that are falling/ fallen partly because Russia is so exhausted in Ukraine and can offer no support Yes it runs counter to Trump being a stooge of Putin. But Trump is also a stooge of Netanyahu
