Pro tip: Get yourself a good audiobook and listen to it while walking. I regularly do extra long walks just because I want to continue listening.

Get a dog, the walks become mandatory. Then there are days when the dog has to sniff every third blade of grass…inevitably, this happens when you’re short on time and trying to do a quick walk… And then there’s rain, snow, extreme cold, extreme heat…yeah walking a dog has it all!
