Not all Christian teachings were written by Christ, people wrote about Darwinism that aren’t Darwin, a person can be the namesake and originator of a philosophy but other scholars will continue writing.

I mean, Christian teachings are largely Greek Philosophy grafted onto Abrahamic religion. I’m not terribly convinced early church fathers really cared what Jesus thought.
