LLMs feel fascist not just because of who is building them, but also they seem intrinsically against neurodiversity. i'm not particularly good at "executive functioning," but I'm a good programmer because my brain is able to focus in a way that "neurotypical" brains don't.
"AI" it takes these activities I enjoy and tries to shoehorn them into something that works for a different type of brain -- i.e. giving conversational orders instead of flow state. which for me just ruins it.

i recognize there's a way of looking at this that's more of a "the more the merrier" type of thing, expanding the number of people that are able to write software. but let's remember these LLMs are essentially exploiting the work of all the programmers that generated its data, while devaluing that work going forward.
