There was a week during covid up here in Canada where even the main street was empty during “rush hour” and it was quiet like being in the forest. I remember thinking that this gives a chance for the earth to breathe for a bit and I swear I could feel it healing.

Yeah, that was one of the best weeks of my life. I was praying humanity would see how calm it was when we turned off the capitalism machine, and we’d decide collectively to keep it off. Unfortunately, humans are dumb
