At the end of February I had added another 7835 words to the novel. I've kept up with the Get Your Words Out habit pledge (a yearly challenge on Dreamwidth and Discord) and either wrote or did something useful to progress the novel every day during the month. The novel now stands at 89,400 words. I'm getting close to the end. I don't want the first draft to be too long, because my drafts grow during the revision phase as I add in more description and flesh out the bare bones scenes.
