Some activities are forcing climate change
CH4 emissions from livestock digestion:
* Pakistan doubles emissions between 2005 and 2024.
* Pakistan and Brazil each emit 3,000 Gg/year more in 2023 than in 2005.

@agriculture@a.gup.pe @ecology@a.gup.pe 🧵 Against #methane 🚦 • Institutions should support vegetal proteins and dairy. • Social movements may target the meat industry. • Animal husbandry in the USA, Brazil, Argentina, are the emittive from enteric fermentation. Corporations should look at how other continents (not Australia) work. • Any country should ban bovine import from Brazil, Argentina, US, Australia. • Any country should castrate male calves. Particular buffalos in Pakistan & India. #beef #emissions #GHG
