Thank you for your interest in my problem, really, it means a lot. No, I haven’t opened a Github issue becayse I was sort of sure it was a virus and as that was the fifth time, I just gave it up because I have spent about 3000 euros on the systems, so I was frustrated and gave it up

There are many ways you can get viruses, it might be because you added a less than good repo or for who knows what reason. Still not excluding errors on the part of fedora. Sucks though in any case. 3000 euros You could just back up important data and do a fresh install, right? I would just put the stuff right back (as always: I guess do as I say not as I do) and go about my life
