@cks@mastodon.social Any guidance on how to avoid a 429 with your blog when accessing it via RSS?
It worked with FreshRSS with no issues but I've recently switched to Miniflux.
I don't _think_ I'm sending that many requests, I have the number of workers per host set to 1.

@BladeWDR@infosec.exchange For a proper syndication feed fetcher¹, the only thing that reduces or eliminates 429s is making feed requests less often. Once an hour is the most it should be doing; any faster risks 429s. ¹ one that does conditional GETs and accepts compressed responses, which Miniflux does as far as I can see from server logs.
