you know, i had a shower thought. the world is getting worse but it's going to tumble eventually - and i mean this for the better. you know how companies have been fucking a lot of people over? sure, there's still a bunch that are just completely apathetic, but buy and large people trying to fight back - and do something about it. which means less profits! and more unions, oh no! rich people want to get things cheaper so they're hijacking governments around the world to become fascist: that makes things even more expensive for everyone, and people are downright tired of fascism. bottom line is don't fuck with this much workers - even if they act in their own self interest they will fight back. notice how people aren't buying the fascist shit the us is doing, like how they're starting to organize protests or build networks to say safe against the gestapo (ice) they're noticing this. age verification and chat control is just another way for governments to build databases of citizens to prevent anonymity and quell revolution, and they're trying to do it frantically, because they know it might be too late. and the best part is, even then, people are pushing back. think about how much people are pushing back against discord implementing age verification for instance. this is having some sort of effect
