It’s crazy to cry about a school full of Iranian kids getting blown up but laugh at a base of 28 year olds trying to escape poverty who are going through the same thing Soldiers in a foreign country getting bombed is not the same as students getting bombed.

American soldiers are overwhelmingly from vulnerable classes of people. They’re typically poor, lack a college degree, are from a minority, trying to getting citizenship, or otherwise just trying to improve their circumstances. Have you ever met soldiers? They’re literally just normal people. Saying they chose war is like saying that a coal miner choose to get black lung.
