@azad@toot.community High tariffs, industrial licensing, approval permission economy - these are the hallmarks of a left and pretty statist economy. “Left economics” isn’t about the outcome for the poor, but rather the involvement of the state.
Your point about the crony capitalism is valid and reinforces this. Captured state intervention, is still a state intervention.
And we are kind combining the worse of both worlds economically.

@shibaprasad@mstdn.party This is coming from a place of charity, but I am not sure which left are you talking about. All ideologies left or right, are based on if we do this then this will be public life. We differ in our understanding of left politics.
