A Chilean salmon farm now draws about 57% of its power from panels laid over the water, cutting roughly 136,000 litres of diesel a year and silencing the generators. With the noise gone, thousands of salmon have gathered in the shade beneath the arrays. Ecoportal https://www.ecoportal.net/en/island-chile-floating-solar-panels/28686/ #ShareGoodNewsToo

@adapalmer@wandering.shop this would be good news if fish farming wasn't so horrifically cruel in so many ways.

@adapalmer@wandering.shop Your synopsis sounds interesting, but the ecoportal.net stories that I looked at a couple weeks when someone else linked to that site, OMG, just the worst writing structure. Will not go there again. I'm told it's not AI, but if so, then wow, humans can write be trained to that bad? If you have another reference on this story, please post it.
