Observations on my Greece trip so far 1. As far as cities on Crete go, Heraklion is a skip but I wish I had more time in Chania 2. I am very slowly understanding how to read the Greek alphabet. 3. I like Athens more than I was expecting to; I was afraid it would be a little too overwhelming à la New York or Rome 4. I still much prefer being able to flush my toilet paper but I’ve gotten used to the trash can mostly 5. Still haven’t had a gyro better than one I can get at home
