@ethanschoonover MP3 players cost something €25, €50/€60 will get you something with Wifi only Android that will work with all streaming services.
Outside of cult-like brand loyalty, there's nothing stopping people from getting an iPod-like device today.

@jmcs @ethanschoonover I recently had a look at "basic" mp3 players, and the usability didn't change much since the days the first iPod was introduced. Something with a good touch wheel (sorry, not you, Tangara) would still beat that. (And I would think avoiding the streaming services and full fledged friggin' Android would be part of the appeal of such a device anyways.)

@jmcs i own three dedicated mp3/flac players. not what i'm after. i'm looking for something that supports apple's modern music ecosystem but that doesn't tie folks into more phone time.
