after watching the bad bunny halftime show, i showed sam a few other halftime shows from the past: michael jackson, paul mccartney, and that weird n sync / aerosmith combo one where mary j. blige & britney spears randomly showed up, and my god was young britney just… otherworldly 🥺💔 anyways the MJ one went great until the giant kid wave during “we are the world”… iykyk 🫣 and the macca one was notable for how it was geared toward prioritizing the live audience over TV viewers, a real showman’s choice, i respect it
