The weather today, rather than being 40F and overcast, as had been predicted mide week, was 52F and brilliantly sunny, so our audience was a bit smaller than we had hoped for, but our concert went well (except for the trumpets and trombones, let's not talk about the damn trombones) and the audience we had enjoyed it. The theme was "In Motion" so all the pieces were at least in part fast and lively. My favorite: "Early Light" by Carolyn Bremer. Why yes, I had an 8-bar solo, why do you ask?
