YouTube’s algorithm, being all knowing and addictive, fed me a video that I haven’t seen in a while but I have watched a million times before. I’m sure most women can think back and remember a famous woman that they admired and wanted to be when they were kids/tweens. The video that I was fed reminded me that I didn’t know the name of the woman I idolized. I just knew her as “The lady in Riverdance” aka Jean Butler. It’s crazy how watching this video brings me back to 1994-1998 era of Rebecca. I would say those four years, from the age of 8-12, have more moments that I still consider core parts of my personality development.
