Earlier this week I read a column by a #Dutch #architect who compares leaving his lawn chair in the street and what we would think of that. Yet car parking... I am publishing his column "Parking is not a birth right" in English today with his permission. #Ottcity #Ottawa

@Hansonthebike@mastodon.world If leaving a lawn chair in the street would be seen as selfish and antisocial, then the same judgment must logically apply to storing tons of private property on public land for free.
