I would love so much that maps websites and apps give the possibility for users to remove the car icons from itineraries. I do not use cars. I do not own a car for the last 25 years. I walk. I use my bicycle. I take public transportation… and still… the first icon is always cars. There is a big opportunity for an app which is eco-friendly for transportation, which can propose paths in forests, small alleys in cities, etc. Something which is not focused on speed optimization.
