​I get where you’re coming from but I look at it a bit differently. Offloading mundane labor to machines is net positive; it’s our “adapt or starve” economic setup that’s broken. By that logic, we should’ve taxed lightbulbs to save lamplighters’ jobs. ​Honestly, I just like packing my bags correctly without feeling rushed by a cashier or dealing with human interaction, for me that’s a big plus.
