I feel fortunate to have grown up before smart phones so I have a baseline of addiction free normality. I try to keep my phone clean, but when Sektori released I installed bsky etc. again to keep track. And now of course I check it constantly for no reason. So it's time to clean the phone again.
If I ever had life changing success, the first thing I would do is close all my "social media" accounts. But for now I, like all creatives, need to sell myself online.

@gimblll@mastodon.gamedev.place that's the dream, eh? If I could make game dev sustainable full time I would immediately quit my job. If by a miracle I managed to find success that enabled me to move to the coast and 'switch off', I would absolutely do that. I'll keep working at it! I hope Sektori continues to do well for you - it's an amazing game!
