Nobody should feel obliged to watch footage of a murder, I don&#39;t even know why you would think that&#39;s necessary. Do you feel so powerless that deliberately witnessing the horrors as some warped form of solidarity is the only agency you still hold? This isn&#39;t going to strengthen you and galvanise you into action. You already know what is happening without having to see the events with your own eyes. This is just self-harm.

@LucieLazerEyez I’m not sure. I feel like that other video with her wife holding her crying while she basically bled out in her lap should run on US tv 24/7. If people get emotionally harmed by it — good. They need to hurt. All of them. They’re far, far, too comfy still. And if they can’t, because they’re too stupid, the rest of the world needs to. We’re all not angry enough still. People need to feel pain to spring into action. It’s not about rallying behind a singular incident (many more like this will follow), it’s about true absolutely non-abstract fear of these fascist regimes and taking away the clean detachment from what murder in the streets actually means. And especially the US have become far too numb to this. “Knowing” a thing and witnessing the actual impact are too very, very, different things. 2nd amendment my ass.
