@Footle@tech.lgbt I read speculation that for a political journalist in their 30s, their entire career will have been focused on drama rather than politics (2008 Financial Crash, "You Bigoted Woman", "Call me Dave", coalition, Brexit debates, Covid messaging, strife within the Tories, the Tangerine Tyrant, Epstein, now strife within Labour) - so they'll thrive on anonymous tip-offs of tensions within Westminster Village rather than focusing on actual policies, thinking that's how their job is supposed to be done.
