so much kemp in that last sample. it doesn’t always twist lock, so it definitely should be plied, maybe with better yarn.
all the comb waste is also short fibers. i wouldn’t use any of it in knitting, just as weft for low-wear items (curtains, placemats, etc).

also these carders are stupid small. makes the techniques i see hard to do as there isn’t enough depth, and they only hold like a gram of fiber. but a cheap introduction, and i was concerned my matted fleece might mess them up (it did not). i think i do want to buy good ones.
