How Far Did Looney Travel?: My best estimate considering we lost him twice at the pole, is he covered 25,000 miles. The circumference of the Earth is about 25k. With all of the switchbacks etc you would think it would have been more than that but in reality he spent his time wandering the top of the Earth as you can see in the pic. If he went around the equator you would not even see the path from this angle. So our intrepid traveler went far enough to loop the Earth. #windenergy ©Tom Kaye on FB
