Thinking of going a week without infinite feeds (Mastodon, Reddit, whatever else) but I’m afraid of facing how addicted they’ve made me. Compulsively checking timelines started with twitter in 2007. 18 years later, children were born and grown-up person stuff has to be done. I have had quite a healthy relationship with social media the past few years. Mainly lurking and not sharing much. But a Reddit addiction has surfaced and took over valuable time I’d rather spend reading. It’s easier on holidays because there’s the relaxation aspect that takes you away from ordinary life. I want that feeling always.
