@wdlindsy@toad.social This time I fear we underestimate the level of corruption under the surface in the Democratic Party. War means dollar signs for all defense contractors... and those folk own a lot of Democrats in Congress, to go with their maga collection. If the patterns hold... there will be a lot of verbal outrage and a ton of doing absolutely NOTHING about it from the blue side of the aisle. There'll probably be a lot of No War signs at the No Kings protests. But those come from the people, not the party.
