How bad do things have to get for Congress to finally decide to do its job? I mean, seriously, how bad?
To the rest of the world, as an American, I am so sorry, and I'm absolutely embarrassed.

@chadmccullough@mastodon.bsd.cafe pretend it doesn't exist is a great coping strategy - even the dems can be better than this mess - maybe, they have serious problems also; i think politically it is the end of a supercycle, the only way change happens is for everybody in politcs now to age out
