The IEA cut its 2026 oil supply forecast by another 600,000 barrels a day, the deepest cut it has made this year, and tied it to Hormuz and the Bab Al Mandeb in its own words (IEA August report via The National, 12 Aug). The agency calls the crisis the largest global oil supply disruption ever.
