I say take careful note of the framing going on there. This was a supposed trade dispute, purportedly a failure to amend an existing agreement. Canada's response to US demands for sovereignty over Canadian affairs was to say we would retaliate dollar for dollar with the US agreement-violating tariffs placed on us. The US frames this as a war with the US and says we have no military. Why would they say that if they were not thinking like Putin's 3-day special operation? Tell me.
