@pre@boing.world it's actually not going as well as the London-based media makes out - an unholy alliance of the bus operators, the drivers, and the freaking drivers UNIONS have conspired to render all the supposed changes almost non-existant, not helped by the largely toothless new regulations.
The operators want to make money, preferably without running any actual services, the drivers seem to think that we passengers should be grateful that they design to turn up eventually, and the Unions only concern is their members not getting sacked, even if those members are getting sacked for not doing their jobs.
No one gives a toss about the poor passengers, who know that if a service is, say, every 10 minutes, that's 6 buses an hour, the only question is - when, within that hour, are 3 going to turn up nose-to-tail.
If they turn up at all.
Yeah, I'm not expecting any changes for the better.
