  Kinda reminds me of modern TEVA sandals for men– for whatever reason, there’s this useless extra margin around my walking-sandal, which might be as much as “.5 extra all around. It winds up making my shoe footprint that much larger than my actual foot, which sorta makes me feel like I’m wearing boats for shoes, at times. It’s also caused me to trip on things and almost fall down, a couple times. Because of that useless extra margin. Funnily enough, I was in a bit of a bind at one point, needed to buy whatever a local store happened to have, and wound up going with a pair of KEEN womens’ shoe-sandals. Those things are awesome IMO. They conform exactingly to my foot, and I actually feel more athletic and foot-safe, just wearing them. Based on what I’m seeing of these golden slippers (particularly the strap), kid Tut’s actual feet might have been almost half the size of the actual shoe, lol.
