@tajoma@critter.cafe there are so many variables at play, you probably won't be able to recreate the exact effect though,, but i'd say still play around with it because it's fun! worst case you'll get a totally original sound, which would be really cool too

@tajoma@critter.cafe i did learn about this technique from c418 btw https://c418.org/albums/excursions/ so it's very likely he used it in Minecraft, too. that's where my hunch comes from! (and also years of living at my parents' house, recording gameplay while playing on speakers because it was too hot to wear headphones lol, i just happen to know how it sounds more or less)
