i tried simply downsampling my own audio, and it gets close, but there's some indescribable aspect that in-game dry hands has that my edits lack. only indescribable to me cuz i'm not a music person lol
still, wouldn't this mean what you use to record it matters? its not only the unique acoustics, but the overall lower fidelity sound that i'm after🐛

@tajoma@critter.cafe honestly kinda hard to tell, i'd guess both the mic and speakers are pretty decent, that's just the way they come through—but the speakers were definitely placed some space away from the mic to generate the reverb, and also i'd try EQing the mic recording a bit to accentuate the bass
