This, by the way, was part of why Kamala Harris' much-derided 2019 universal coverage proposal (before she dropped out of the 2020 primary) *deliberately* included a 10-year implementation process: She wanted to ensure that EVERY union would have time to renegotiate.

In theory, the employer would presumably increase your salary by the same amount that *they’re* saving on *their* portion of the premiums….except that there’s no way to guarantee that, and it’s not like most are passing along the tariff money that they’re being refunded to consumers right now…
