@azonenberg@ioc.exchange Large 3 phase vacuum motors too! I have maintained very large vacuum pumps that also had booster vacuum pumps to quickly pump down large areas well below 1 torr. The velocity inside those large pipes can reach speeds comparable to spacecraft.
