What makes this a truly moronic philosophy is that the entire economy is being destroyed by the obsession with fossil fuels.
There will be no economy left by 2039 at the current rate of emissions.
Total collapse in organised civilisation is now extremely likely by then.

Not even the billionaires will be able to escape to their billionaire bunkers. There are zero billionaires willing to eat canned tomatoes and canned sardines for 40 years in their bunker. The ability to farm anything will require a stable climate & workers. Deadly AI robots will not obey them.
