@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social Contemporary Apple seems to have forgotten the bit about "Design is how it works.", and have got stuck on the "looks like and feels like" part, for a fixed number of premium, not yet shipped, scenarios.
They have stopped caring deeply and become focused on the superficial.

@andybold@hachyderm.io @stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social For all of the talk of this being "aqua like" if you put the liquid glass version of pages next to something closer to original aqua it is night and day. Aqua wasn't about making every button a glassy shiny thing, it was also highly usable. Sure the new version looks more "modern" but I would argue it's worse to use.
