@subnetter@shitposter.world No, this poem makes me more mad the more I think about it. I hate the hypothetical of just being someone else. Taking it serously requires a complete removal of empathy (if you think being someone else would just be you're personality in a different body) or the complete denial that you are anything (if you think being someone else would be being them unchanged). And most of all it denies that you came into being for a reason. That you could be born to another set of parents mrans that the soul is a blank slate that is filled up by your life. That you have no inherent connection to you're family, your ancenstors, your people, yourself. Turning persons into mere placeholders that can be swapped around without meaning. I despse it.
