@mdhughes@appdot.net I have an old memory of an Indy that just appeared one day like a goddamn monolith in a small computer lab full of Gateway 2000 486DX4/100 desktops and I swear I could hear the chorus wailing when it got quiet in there

@flyingsaceur@ioc.exchange As I said at the time (& got quoted in an SGI memo, which kinda oops), "an Indy is an Indigo without the go." IRIX is unhappy with insufficient RAM & GPU power. But it would've blown those PC things away. I was using the Indigo to do dumb 3D graphics rendering for like ad & station bumpers. Whee, but got me playing with GL.
