Mount Allison University researchers studying impact of salamander species on N.S. forests
The eastern red-backed salamander may hold the key to better understanding the health of old hemlock forests in southwestern Nova Scotia. Researchers are looking at salamander populations and behaviour to study the impacts of an invasive bug and the insecticides we use to fight it.
