@raccoon@hollow.raccoon.quest It really was hard to relearn typing yeah, although take that with the fact that I also switched from QWERTY to Colemak layout at the same time.
When it comes to gaming, things are usually alright. The biggest challenge I find are games that make heavy use of modifier keys and have mouse controls since there are limited keys on the left hand to assign modifiers to. And any key that has a double function of key press and hold for modifier cannot be held. So it really depends is the answer hehe.
The layout itself takes getting used to with gaming but that adapts really quickly in my experience

@mianotapancake@void.lgbt The big issue when it comes to gaming is that I am left handed. I struggle using my right hand on a mouse for games, so basically every time I boot a game that is played on keyboard I spend the first then minutes rebinding everything. My standard keybinding for most videogames is 8456 on the numpad functioning as wasd, to jump, crouch and sprint I use the arrow keys with my thimb. numpad7 is my interact button. A lot of games have these things in common, others have different quirks so I have to figure out what works. It fucking sucks.
