@tux0r@layer8.space @ErikUden@mastodon.de To be honest, I don't know much about Lisp. So Lisp could also work for cross-platform.
One important thing with web-based apps is that you can always either ship them as Electron (or maybe something newer and faster like Tauri) or as a website, which is really flexible.
But I agree that web is not always the best option. And with WASM compiled cross-platform code might also become a more popular option.

@chefx@defcon.social @ErikUden@mastodon.de Mozilla had planned to establish (or something) many years ago, but we still need JavaScript glue code to run WASM, gaining nothing.
