@why_not@mastodon.social This may sound cynical, but somehow sometimes I tend to think that dispersing the stuff in the oceans may be preferable - in the long run. It may be better than storage above ground or in yet non-existing underground facilities on land. Mind you we are talking about 1000s of years for normal waste and 100000s of years for transuranic stuff like 293Pu
