@timhutton@mathstodon.xyz, ok fine, for an active definition of “active”. There is a very good reason for large accounts to keep their account “active” in a passive sense. If they delete the account, someone else can register the name and impersonate. (After 30 days? Maybe?) The hard core way to “leave” is to delete all your tweets but *keep* your account.
