This reference bible is Dispensationalist, and was heavily marketed, especially in Baptist and Evangelical churches.
Dispensationalism was invented by an Irishman called Scofield in the mid-1800's. This creed is still considered heresy by some denominations, because it changes the end-times prophecies in a ways that contradicts the Jewish teachings.
But it benefits Zionism greatly.
