@somecanuckchick@mastodon.world apparently it's running low on missiles - especially defensive ones, and so intercepting Iranian barrages of cheap drones is getting harder. When you put a $20k shahed drone against a $1.5M patriot interceptor, one side is going to run out sooner Basically you can't win a war from the air. You need boots on the ground or it's never going to work . And UA has demonstrated the problems with boots on the ground these days. The US is fighting with obsolete techniques.
